Meet Our Instructors

Ryan Comley

-Drumset, Percussion, Auxiliary Percussion

Hello everyone! My name is Ryan Comley, and I am your Drum/Percussion instructor at Everything Music! I am currently studying music performance at UNC Charlotte. I have been in love with music since the seventh grade, and have decided to keep it in my life since then. I will be teaching all styles of drum set, as well as any marching, concert, or hand percussion. I love everything percussion, and hope to share that love with everyone!

 

Keven Ramirez

-Flute

Hi! My name is Keven Ramirez and I’m a first year Music Education student at UNC Charlotte. I’m originally from Sanford, NC but moved to Charlotte for school this past fall. I have played flute for nine years and have played alto saxophone for two years in high school. I’ve been passionate about music since the first time I’ve played the flute. I’m very excited to be apart of Everything Music’s instructor team to teach future flute students and hopefully make music their passion too!

 

Chris Smith (Left): 

-Low Brass, Music Theory, Aural, Music Concepts

Hey everyone! My name is Chris Smith and I am a sophomore music performance major. I play trombone and have a passion for making and understanding music deeper. I also love animals and have a fair share of pets. I’m glad to be a part of the team here at Everything Music and I can’t wait to see where we go!

 

Scott Brumfield (Founder+Instructor): 

Saxophone, Piano/Keyboard

My name is Scott Brumfield and I am the founder of Everything Music! I run the company on a day-to-day basis and providing excellent service is something that I am committed to. Along with running the company I also teach lessons on Saxophone, and Piano/Keyboard for beginners. I studied Music at UNC Charlotte and played Alto, Tenor, and Baritone Saxophone; as well as took two years of piano classes daily.
